We all grow up with big dreams. Sometimes they change and new ones are fulfilled. But many times, life dishes its own challenges and our dreams get derailed, neglected or eventually slip away. Not anymore.
What’s your dream? Have you always loved the creativity and personality of the beauty, spa, or wellness industries? Does your passion shine through in nails and makeup? Is the pull of the beauty field undeniable? If you’ve dreamed of a career in the beauty, wellness, and fitness industry, but don’t have your diploma, there is another way.
If you’re interested in attending Boca Beauty Academy, but circumstances prevented you from finishing high school, you can have a second chance. Now that we’ve partnered with the Penn Foster High School Diploma program, you can learn at your own pace and earn the credentials you need to enroll in Boca Beauty Academy!
What is it?
The Penn Foster High School and Boca Beauty Academy Career Pathways Program allows students to earn their high school diploma through an accredited program by attending classes on our campus in as little as a few weeks based on previous education experience
Who is it for?
This program is for anyone who’s ready to earn a high school diploma and make a change in their life. Students should be at least 17 years old (although younger students can be accepted with parent/guardian approval) and we encourage adults of all ages!
How does it work?
Students come to Boca Beauty Academy a minimum of 12 hours per week (about 3 days per week for 4 hours each day) where they complete high school coursework at their own pace. A classroom facilitator is available to answer any questions about the curriculum.
Is there a final exam?
There is no comprehensive or final exam. Each subject is broken down into smaller modules with multiple choice assessments for each, as well as a few essays for the writing classes. It’s self-paced so you determine how much time to spend on each subject before moving ahead.
Plus, as a pathway to enrolling in one of Boca Beauty Academy’s career programs, you can earn your diploma at no cost to you. You don’t have to start from scratch either; you can submit your transcript to obtain academic credits for coursework you’ve already completed in high school or for any GED exams you’ve already passed.
